Join us in person for the March PMI Erie Chapter meeting held at Radius CoWork. We will have an interactive in discussion led by Casie Lucas-Szumigala, Owner of Click Pragmatics; "Click into Clarity: How Understanding Your Communication Style Can Unite Your Team".
"Click into Clarity : How Understanding Your Communication Style Can Unite Your Team", is an interactive workshop that will give you tools to determine your communication style, strategies to discover the communication styles of the people on your teams, and how to leverage self-awareness and self-management to better “click” with those challenging people back at the office. This is an opportunity to go beyond reading what your behavior and personality profiles say about you, to actually DOING something to change how you navigate every conversation you have. Grab a pen, pull up a chair, and get ready to talk!
Casie Lucas-Szumigala is an Erie, PA native. In addition to her 17‐year career as a master’s level speech-language pathologist working with patients from infancy to old age in schools, clinics, homes, and hospitals, her life experiences as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend have led her to entrepreneurship and the creation of Click Pragmatics. Through Click Pragmatics, Casie coaches professionals and consults with businesses on how they can leverage their social and emotional intelligence to become agile communicators who “click” with everyone they meet. Casie is a certified Social and Emotional Intelligence Coach (from the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence) and is trained in Pulse by Fierce coaching (following the work of Susan Scott in Fierce Conversations) and PQ Positive Intelligence coaching (based on the work of Shirzad Chamine). Times are changing and the workforce is a complicated place to navigate! New technology can do amazing things, but it cannot replace human connection…at least, that’s her opinion. At the end of the day, Casie is most inspired when empowering others to invest in connecting to the humans with whom they live and work, through conversation.
