Calendar of Events

Rick Mueller, AINS®, CCCA®, CDT®, PMP®, has spent over 25 years managing projects.  He has prior experience in the legal and banking fields at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and M&T Bank in Buffalo, respectively. Over the past decade, Rick has served in the Corporate Services Division of Erie Insurance. 

Rick has performed as a business-side project manager for the Trust & Investment and Commercial Lending areas of banking, with a focus on the business side of acquisitions and mergers, as well as system consolidation and upgrades.  He performed as an IT project manager in the insurance industry, for entry into a new geographic region.  Rick is now a Master Project Manager in the Construction Management & Operations area at Erie Insurance, working on such completed projects as the Armory, Fitness Center, Colt/Von Buseck Houses, Firehouse, and Thomas B. Hagen Building.  The most recent program Rick is involved with is the renovation of the F.W. Hirt Perry Square Building.

Rick has taught undergraduate classes at Gannon University for several years over the past decade.  His academic background includes both undergraduate and MBA degrees from Canisius College (now Canisius University) in Buffalo, NY.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Rick has been involved in community service.  He is past President of Camp Fire USA, Western New York Council, past President and past VP-Programs for PMI Erie Chapter and is currently Vice President for the Perry Square Alliance.  Residing in Harborcreek, PA, Rick enjoys camping, gardening, traveling, and spending time with good friends and family.
