Calendar of Events

Our September Chapter meeting will be a presentation on Communications Management.  

Gabrielle (Gabi) Catrabone is a Business Development Manager for the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership by day and a stand-up comedian by night.   

She has also worked in Sales and Marketing, and Government Relations and Economic Development.  She was a college athlete as captain of the Mercyhurst Women’s Soccer team.  

Currently, she is preparing for the Chamber’s biggest event of the year, the Erie Homecoming.  This event connects local leaders and community advocates who are forging new paths and transforming our hometown into a thriving hub of creativity and progress.  

Meanwhile, she is also preparing for her next comedy gig.  

September topic: Communications Management  

In both of her roles, she manages communications daily. As Project Managers, one of our biggest power skills is communication. Communication Management is one of the 10 knowledge areas of project management and includes:

1. Manage communications  

1. Monitor communications 

Gabi will share her experiences managing communications in her comedy career, from planning the content of a set, to managing the audience during delivery.
