The Tuesday, October 19th Erie, PA Chapter Meeting Will Include: 12:00pm – 1:00pm: Slicing Stories in Agile by Gillian Julius Please join your fellow PMI Erie Chapter members for a presentation from Gillian Julius. One of the trickiest things to get right in Agile, especially when you are first starting out, is the art of slicing up user stories. There are many ways to do it, but not all of them lead to a happy ending for your project. In this session we will learn a few different techniques for breaking up stories and consider pros and cons depending on the context. If you are currently working as part of an Agile team, this talk should give you some practical approaches you can put into action right away.

Our Social Good Committee is preparing a virtual presentation on Project Management for Strong Vincent Middle School and they need you! Volunteers will partner with a member of the Social Good team to facilitate four virtual presentations to 7th and 8th graders at Strong Vincent Middle School. The presentations will include an overview of Project Management, the Tower Game and Q&A.
