The Wednesday, June 17th Erie, PA Chapter Meeting Will Include:

12:00pm – 1:00pm    “Thoughts on Virtual Project Management” presented by Clark Overbaugh, Associate Director at AT&T Government Solutions

Clark is an Associate Director at AT&T Government Solutions, managing a portfolio of federal government contracts for the past 14 years. He has served in various roles while at AT&T, including initiating project management organizations (PMO), program manager, business development manager, and leading business process improvement initiatives. As a certified PMP, Clark is a mentor and instructor for the AT&T Project Management Network, assisting multiple AT&T employees to attain their PMP Certification. Clark is also a formally trained Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Prior to AT&T, he provided Test & Evaluation (T&E) oversight for major defense acquisition programs, in support of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Director Operational Test & Evaluation (DOT&E).

Clark is a retired Commander in the U.S. Navy, where he was a Naval Aviator who flew the A-6 Intruder and F-14 Tomcat. His last tour was with the Office of Naval Research, where he led multiple rapid concept design exercises and participated in science and technology projects delivering innovative concepts and solutions to various customers.

Clark has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona, an MBA from Virginia Tech, and an MA in National Security & Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. He has mentored/coached MBA students at the Virginia Tech Executive MBA program for the past three years.

Clark is a native of McFarland, Wisconsin. His interests are in sports, outdoors, travel, eaching/mentoring, lifelong learning and anything revolving around his kids’ activities. He coaches multiple youth sports teams in Northern Virginia, is a Cub Scout leader and participates in various STEM activities with the Loudoun County Public Schools.
